U.S. official vows support to Lebanon

BEIRUT, Lebanon, July 8 (UPI)

U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near East Affairs Elizabeth Dibble Thursday relayed U.S. support to the still-unformed new Lebanese government.

Dibble who arrived in Beirut Wednesday to inaugurate the regional U.S. chamber of commerce said the United States looks forward to the formation of the new government in order to provide the support for Lebanon.
