النهار  كتبت جنى نصرالله: في اليوم العاشر لن يستريح المعتصمون، بل سيشحنون طاقاتهم لتصعيد التحرك بعدما حددت قوى المعارضة اليوم موعدا لبدء المرحلة الثانية. الدعوة تتحدث عن مهرجان ضخم يبدأ في الساعة الثالثة عصرا. الخطوات اللاحقة تعلن في حينها. التوقعات كثيرة. الشائعات اكثر ولكن لا شيء معلناً رسميا: فقط مهرجان حاشد ودعوة الى مشاركة كثيفة. الساحتان لا تدلان على ان ثمة جديداً تتأهبان استعدادا لاستقباله. فالامور على حالها. والتنظيم في حال استنفار كما اعتاد ان يكون منذ اليوم الاول لبدء الاعتصام. اختلف شكل الساحة بين اليوم الاول لبدء المعارضة تحركها والامس.   تتمة     استقبل البطريرك الماروني الكاردينال مار نصر الله بطرس صفير ظهر اليوم رئيس كتلة التغيير و الاصلاح النائب العماد ميشال عون وعرض معه الاوضاع العامة في البلاد، واستبقاه الى مائدة الغداء. بعد اللقاء أوضح النائب عون "ان الزيارة اليوم لغبطة البطريرك هي للتأكيد على تأييدنا لورقة الثوابت الوطنية التي صدرت عن بكركي, وطبعا أيدناها كاملة ونتمنى على بقية الاطراف اعتمادها كما وردت بكاملها لا ان يتم تجزئتها وان تعتبر كلائحة طعام يختار منها كل واحد ما يعجبه.انها ورقة كاملة متكاملة ونأمل ان يكون اعتمادها مسلكا لحل المشاكل العالقة".   تتمة

ماذا يعرف السي أي إي عن لبنان

Is Lebanon for the Christians? if not, why? is it for the Muslims? or the Druze? Some will say it is for all of us.....and we say these are words, just big flat words from the mouth and not from the heart.

Certainly the 2005 elections did not prove the theory of coexistence, or am I wrong? we can examine the facts and say this: 
'it is true that a majority of Christians were elected by the Muslim votes', BUT,,,, wait a second.... it is the Christians who actually makes the Muslim coalitions shine and prosper. It is the Christians of Lebanon who make or brake Muslim leaders, unless you believe being a local leader in Southern Lebanon is truly leadership! 

The Shiites of Southern Lebanon, Amal and Hezbollah are they leaders? Is Nabih Berri and Nasrallah Lebanese leaders ?or leaders of their own local Shiite communities that do not go beyond Tyr and Sidon and skipping all civilization then landing in Baalbeck. 
It might be true that Shiites of Lebanon might not need the Lebanese Christians because of their existence in such self ruled and tightly controlled areas. They consider modern civilization and openness to the West an act of evil that is not neither appreciated, nor wanted. The west contaminate and threatens their social being.

What the Sunnites have seen, the Shiites intentionally ignored and shut their eyes tight. The Sunnites realized that to partnership with the Christians means evolution, modernization, civilization and the opening to the western gate, and through this gate the entry to the world. Here is a picture that says it all:

Pulling the strings? Hariri a puppet in Jumblat's hands

But can you trust the Sunnites? especially when they got the majority in parliament? a remarkable development that never happened before. 

Why does Saad Hariri  has majority?

Saad Hariri has a parliamentary block of 28 deputies. 10 of 28 are Christians that is a 35% of his Tayyar or Tayyar al Mustaqbal. Take the 10 away and Saad Hariri is reduced to a 18 man-block, not bad, but, not as strong. When Rafic Hariri was still alive (God bless his soul, he is a real martyr) he won all 19 seats in Beirut, and guess what? 9 out the 19 are Christians, this is 47% of his strength in Beirut.

Saad is smart and intelligent, he realized he needs a strong Christian by his side, a man of honor, dignity, a man who is ALL patriotism with an international clout. But with Jumblat holding his strings, Hariri could never ratify this political contract.

Why the Jumblat, Hariri, Aoun meeting did not take place? what is your opinion?  not the press opinion.
